Looking good is not just about going to the gym and buying nice clothes, it’s also about feeling inspired by a new perfume with a fresh, summer-like fragrance. When talking about perfumes for women, we must go back in time. The importance of perfumes and fragrances goes back to ancient times in Mesopotamia and Egypt, when it was used in religious ceremonies.
Romans and Persians have developed and refined the art of producing perfumes. They used only herbs and spices, like almond, orange, coriander, myrtle, conifer resin, but not flowers. Later, a Muslim doctor, by the name of Avicenna, introduced the process of extracting oils from flowers by distillation, a method widely used today. The science of perfumes reached Europe in the 14th century due to the spread of Islam. The first modern perfume was created in 1370 by order of Queen Elizabeth of Hungary. Perfumery prospered in Italy, during the Renaissance, and in the 16th century the Italian sophistication arrived in France, which quickly became the European center of perfume and cosmetics and the cultivation of flowers for essences became an important industry in southern France. Let’s have a look at ten must have fresh summer perfumes for women.

Christine says
Perfume is one of the ‘must have’ required of a woman. In terms of fashion, clothing style, a chic hairstyle and a stylish make up , must necessarily be accessorized with a fragrance to match. In terms of perfume I would say that my favorites are Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and VERSUS by VERSACE.
